Answer: Being on my knees in the hospital entrance, vomiting bile, utterly weak and helpless, with a tube down my nose – that was rock bottom. I honestly didn't know if I'd see my family again.
 

Question 2: Yet, here you are, not only recovered but heading to the Powerlifting World Championships. What fueled that incredible turnaround?
 

Answer: Sheer determination, the unwavering love and support of my wife and daughter, and a deep-seated refusal to let cancer steal my life and my dreams. I had to fight back.
 

Question 3: You mentioned that cancer stole the World Championships from you last year. What does it mean to be heading there now?
 

Answer: It's everything. It's proof that even after the darkest of times, you can reclaim what you've lost and come back even stronger. It's a symbol of hope and resilience.
 

Question 4: Your message is powerful: "No matter what life throws at you, don't forget who you are! Fight back!" Can you elaborate on what that means to you personally?
 

Answer: It means digging deep, remembering your core strength and values, and refusing to surrender. It's about taking each day, each step, no matter how small, and pushing forward with everything you've got.

Answer: That even in the face of unimaginable adversity, hope and strength exist within you. Take your time to heal, but never give up on fighting for your life and your passions. You are loved.
